Obituary Condolences

BONASERA, Salvatore J. "Sal" Of Avon, passed away on August 23, 2013, after a brief illness, at the age of 90. Born in Boston, Sal graduated from East Boston High School and later went on to graduate from Northeastern University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. Sal worked as a salesman for GE in the Kitchen Appliance Division for over 30 years. He was an active member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Randolph where he served on the buildings and grounds committee and was a member of the Vestry. Sal was an avid sports fan, however, spending time with his family is what brought him the most joy. Sal was the beloved husband of Sally J. (Jones) Bonasera. Loving father of John Bonasera of Boston, Susan Dal Porto of San Fransisco, CA, and James Bonasera of Rowley. Devoted brother of John Bonasera of Salem. Dear grandfather of Dominic, Christina, Nicolas, and Alexa. Reposing at the Cart-wright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St., (Rt. 28), RANDOLPH. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 120 No. Main St., Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4:00-8:00 PM. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Sals memory to the Trinity Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 120 No. Main St., Randolph, MA 02368.
