HOADLEY, Sheila Rumsey Died May 23, 2016 aged 77, following a short struggle with an aggressive cancer at her home in Lexington. Born in Cardiff, Wales and educated as a teacher in Leicester, England she moved to San Francisco in the 60's and thence to Cambridge to teach at the Shady Hill School. Following a Masters in Education at Harvard, she directed the Children's Garden at the Cambridge School of Weston for several years. "She sparkled and had strong opinions tempered by a kind heart". Joanna Flores of Pacific Palisades CA, and Thomas Hoadley of Scituate and her three beloved grandchildren, Benjamin and Ava Nusbaum and Elizabeth (Lily) Hoadley. Many thanks to all her many caring and wonderful friends, to the staff of Mount Auburn Healthcare and to the hospice services provided by Good Shepherd Community Care.
