Of Millis, May 31, 2013. Age 86. Beloved husband of 66 years to Elizabeth (Flagg) Proe. Loving father of J. Wesley Proe II and wife Dianne of Millis, Bonnie Proe Kanavich and husband Paul of Whitefield, ME and Susan Proe ladonisi and husband Jeffery of Sandwich. Cherished grandfather of Wesley Babb of Brattleboro, VT; Jessica Babb Williams of Topsham, ME; Jeffery ladonisi and Lisa ladonisi Glaser both of Sandwich, Myles Proe and MacKenzie Proe both of Millis and great grandfather of Elliot, Scarlett, and Amelia Williams, Russell Babb, and Luke Glaser. Devoted son of the late James Wesley and Laura (Paradis) Proe. Dear brother of the late Katherine Connors and Emily King. Dear uncle of Wendy King Dennis, Kenneth King, Thomas Connors and William Connors. He is also survived by his sisters-in-laws. Marcia Flagg of Medfield; Mary Flagg Downing of Mansfield; and Carol Flagg Manning of Sheldonville. Nephews Timothy Manning, Kevin Patrick Manning, Timothy Downing, Christopher Downing, and Jonathan Downing and nieces Caroline Downing and Jennifer Downing. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in Celebration of Thomas' Life at the Church of Christ, 142 Exchange Street, Millis, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis.
