PRESTIA, Tommaso "Tommy" Of Peabody, formerly of Revere and Hingham, passed away on April 21, 2016 after fighting a long and courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of Melina Prestia (Fazzolari). Proud and loving father of Rocco, Ariana and Vincenzo Prestia. Loving son of Teresa Prestia of Hingham and the late Rocco Prestia. Cherished brother of Maria Qualtieri and husband Domenic and Vickie Micelotta and husband Salvatore, all of Weymouth. Dearest son-in-law of Vincenzo and Lina Fazzolari of Peabody. Devoted brother-in-law to Giuseppe Fazzolari and his wife Diana of Swampscott. Lovingly survived by his nieces and nephews; Attilio, Domenic, Jessica, Nicolas, Vincenzo and Giulianna, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family and friends will honor Tommy's life by gathering on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Our Lady of The Assumption Church, 17 Grove St., Lynnfield, MA and again on Wednesday morning at 10:30 am at Our Lady of The Assumption Church, Lynnfield for a funeral mass in celebration of his life at 11 am. Services will conclude with Tommy being laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, donation's in Tommy's memory may be made to Melina Prestia Fbo The Prestia Educational Fund, 11 Antonio Dr., Peabody, MA 01960-4954. The Prestia family would like to thank the Lahey Hospital and Med. Center, the Lahey Health and Home Visiting Nurses, as well as any other persons involved with his care.
