VICTORIA ANN BUCCI Obituary
Bucci, Victoria Ann 93, of Ipswich, MA and Derry, PA, died peacefully, Monday, June 16, 2014. She was born September 30, 1920 in Derry, PA a daughter of the late Roberto and Marietta (Cugini) Bucci. For 91 years, Aunt Vit lived in her family homestead in Derry, Pennsylvania until three years ago when she relocated to Ipswich. Aunt Vit was a member and volunteer at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Derry, PA for ninety-one (91) years. She worked in the medical records department at Latrobe Hospital in Derry until her retirement. Aunt Vit loved sharing her home with her family and friends, and always made everyone feel so welcome. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by eight brothers, Charles, Anthony, Pat, Raymond, William, Paul, Luigi, and Manfredo Bucci and three sisters, Philomena, Christina DiOrio, and Clara Rocca. She is survived by 115 nieces, nephews, grandnieces and great-grandnephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary Star of the Sea Church, 253 Cabot Street, Beverly on Thursday, June 19th at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, BEVERLY Wednesday, June 18th from 9 to 11 A.M. In Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 21st, visiting hours will be held at the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. 3rd Ave, Derry, Pennsylvania from 9 to 11 A.M., followed by a brief prayer service in the funeral home and a Graveside Service at the Saint Joseph Cemetery in Derry at 11:30 A.M. Relatives and friends are again invited to attend. Memorial donations may be made in Aunt Vit's Memory to the Sisters of Notre Dame, 30 Jeffrey's Neck Rd., Ipswich, MA 01938.
