WENDY CASWELL Obituary

CASWELL, Wendy Anne Frey Born November 27, 1957 and entered into eternal peace on September 19, 2015. Wendy left our physical world to go talk sports and play golf with her father Jack Frey in heaven. She was survived by her mother Mary "Pepper" Frey, her daughter Cara Caswell, her grandson Sawyer Jack, her sisters Pam and Cindy, her cousins Marc and Chris, and her Uncle Bob. Wendy grew up in Wellesley, MA and raised her daughter in Bolton, MA. She eventually found herself in Boston, MA, a city that she loved dearly for its beauty and culture. She traveled the world and loved to share that joy with the ones she loved. Wendy was an avid Boston sports fan. She loved going to games and was generous in sharing those experiences. Wendy was a hardworking, successful business woman. During her time at Digital, Compaq and Zink her hard work, dedication and drive was always evident. She left a mark on everyone she worked with, as she was full of kindness, humor and high expectations. Pepper will forever miss her daughter, her best friend, and their special bond. Her sisters Pam and Cindy watched her grow from a free spirited wild child into a fierce and loving mama. Their love for her has been and always will be everlasting. Wendy has left some of her dearest friends, Susan, Kathy, Leah and Liz with beautiful memories of love, laughter and friendship to cherish forever. Wendy has left Linda, Alyssa and Julia with a lifetime of memories and a motherly influence that will forever be impactful. Wendy cherished her dear friends Stephen and Pat, whose long time dedication to her was full of love and commitment. Wendy's love and generosity knew no boundaries. She will forever be in the hearts of all her family and friends that she loved. Anyone who was blessed enough to cross paths with her was impacted for the better, her kind aura was radiant and contagious. Wendy (Nana) loved her grandson Sawyer Jack with her whole heart and soul. She showered him with wisdom, kindness, lessons of sportsmanship and countless M & M's. Wendy was a mother beyond compare. She modeled how to be a strong, loving, kind and compassionate woman. She taught Cara the value of love and the importance of celebrating life. Wendy embodied strength and determination in everything she did, spreading her wings with grace and love, keeping Cara close while allowing her to learn the ways of the world. She told Cara to laugh hard, love hard, play hard and try hard at everything you do. So that is what shall be done with gratitude and love, as she would want. Mom, you will be forever missed. May you rest in peace and may your soul be free for all of eternity. Sleep in the stars our angel. There will be a celebration of her beautiful life at a later date. Just heard this but would like to send my condolences to the family. I remember you all with affection. Wendy was unique and I was just looking at a couple of old pictures from 40+ years ago. R.I.P.

I'm so sorry to hear of Wendy's passing. Thanks so much for this beautiful tribute! I worked with Wendy for many years at Digital, and enjoyed every minute! A truly wonderful, talented, very hard-working person, who was a real joy to know. My condolences to her other friends and family, who I know are feeling this loss terribly...

What a stunning, beautiful tribute. I worked with Wendy at Digital and Compaq for many years and remained friends. When I finally left HP in 2003 she hired me at Ammasso, trusting me with my very first start-up role. Of course, the day I showed up for my new job, Wendy announced she was leaving for Polaroid for a great opportunity! I teased her about that one for awhile! Later on, we connected again when she was at Zink, where I almost wound up working for her again. I will always remember her great humor and integrity in everything she did. I will miss her greatly. Please do let me know of memorial plans, [email protected]
