As a Somerville resident since 1955, I will always remember Dr. Picariello and the many office visits I had with him in my childhood. He was always so kind to my mother and me. Rest in peace.

What a kind & gentle soul. I also remember Dr. Picariello making house calls when I was very young.

One evening, over 40 years ago, he came to the house & told my mother to get me to the hospital immediately as I was very ill due to a ruptured appendix. Things were much different in those days & they didn't think I would make it.

With lots of prayers & the help of a specialist & Dr. P, I'm still around to remember my 2-month ordeal.

I grew up & still live in Arlington & had I known he was nearby, I would have enjoyed visiting him.

My condolences to his family.

he was such a kind person I will never forget the times he would make a doctors visit to my house when I was a kid. He treated you for what ever was bothering you and he made you feel better. His doctors office was always crowded many people depended on him! God speed Dr Picariello and my deepest sympathies to the family

Such a gentle man. I can remember as a child how proud we all were that one of the Morris Street kids was off to medical school. Uncle Rico was one of the kindest men I have ever known. A man his family has every right to be proud of.
