Noreen, I am sorry I wasn't feeling well when Mike passed away, or I would have been there. Please accept my deepest sympathy. He always had such a great smile, and was nice to everyone. I shall remember him in my prayers.

Dear Uncle Mike, I find myself just staring at your picture wondering what life is going to be like now that you are no longer with us. I do hope that you are in a better place for your sake, however your absence is very saddening for those of us that are left behind. Please take care, all my love, your neice Ann Flynn Dickinson

Your name and contribution will never be forgotton . I have no doubt that you stand at the side of PS Gilmore and are now playing to the dulcet tones of that great Irish American . The world is a much better place for you having visited . May you rest in peace

To the Cummings family.
Greetings from Ireland. It is indeed a sad time for the family/but be happy for all the wonderful memories and events/ both political and musical during his lifetime. I never actually met him but while reserching PS Gilmore i became aware of the vast amount of time and effort he put in to keep Gilmores achievements alive[ in a historical context]. The memorial placque in Ballygar is still there and there is a Carnival Festival Committee established who run a Marching Band Competition every year in August--run in co-operation with the Irish Marching Band Association. Music is alive and flourishing both in Ballygar and Ireland. Peace to the family and friends of Michael Cummings. [email protected]

To the Cummings Family:
May Mike find true rest and comfort in the arms of our Lord. I hope and pray that my father, Tom Flatley, was one of the first to greet him in Heaven. They were the best of friends in this life and they both passed from the same dreaded disease. Noreen, they are now young and healthy and maybe playing the Gaelic football once again. May they rest in peace.
