Caccia, Louis J.
"Big Lou" of Newtonville, beloved husband of the late Laura (Tomcyzk) Caccia, died peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. He leaves his children, Stephen, Lois (Collins), John, Anita (Harmon), and Lawrence, along with his 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was the son of the late Eusebio and Renata (Poncia) Caccia. He also leaves his brothers, Carlo and Robert, and the late Vincent, and the late sister, Annita. Lou, a championship cribbage player, loved spending time with his family and friends at his summer home at Swift's Beach in Wareham. Visiting Hours in the A.J. Magni & Son FH, 365 Watertown St., Rt. 16, NEWTON, Monday, Feb. 25, from 4-8PM and again Tuesday morning at 9AM, before proceeding to St. Bernard Church, 1523 Washington Street, West Newton for a Funeral Mass at 10AM. Interment in Newton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louis' name may be made to the West End Museum, 150 Staniford St., Suite 7, Boston, MA 02114 or the , 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
