Morgan, Agnes V. (Doherty)
In her 102nd Year, passed away at her daughter's home in Malden, on October 23, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She had resided in Beachmont, Revere for most of her life prior to moving to Malden 11 years ago. Daughter of the late Michael and Ellen Doherty, Agnes was born in Charlestown, MA on December 22, 1911. Agnes worked in the textile business for many years and was completely devoted to her children, as well as to her entire extended family. The youngest of nine children, she was the sister of the late Francis, John, Alfred and James Doherty, Helen Doherty, Mary Madden, Louise (Phalen) Crovo and Margurerite Hickey. Cherished mother of Joseph (Tony) Morgan and his wife Eileen, Denise Carney and her late husband Wayne and Michael Morgan and his wife Claire. Grandmother of Susan and Jay Ash, Christine and Thomas Proctor, Wayne Carney and his companion Betty Remillard, Nancy and John Barrett, William and Lisa Morgan, Christopher Morgan, Pamela and Michael Richard, Kristen and Albert McClendon, Michelle and George Eastman. Devoted great grandmother of Erin and Shane Proctor, Kevin and Brian Ash, Morgan Carney, Madison and Jack Barrett, Kayla Morgan, Michael Morgan Eastman, Connor and Morgan McClendon. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and special friends. Agnes was a beautiful and special lady who was loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed. Funeral from the Porcella Funeral Home, 876 Winthrop Ave., REVERE on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach St., Revere at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8 p.m. Interment Winthrop Cemetery, Winthrop.
