PHILIP F. REILLY Obituary
Reilly, Philip F. Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Brother. 78. Resident of Florida. Phil Reilly died peacefully Thursday, December 19, 2013 surrounded by his loving wife and children. Born in Weston, MA, September 17, 1935. He was one of five children born to James and Marie Reilly of Lowell, MA. Phil was married in Rome, Italy to Giuseppa "Pina" Reilly with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. Phil spent his youth in Waltham, MA, attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and served honorably in the USMC. He resided in Chelmsford, MA before retiring to Florida where he pursued his passion for daylily hybridizing. This quest earned him several prestigious awards and honors. He is survived by his wife Pina and children: Marisa Reilly, Gina (Reilly) and Michael Morrison, George and Sandy (Roberts) Reilly. His brothers and sisters: Barbara Mackiewicz, James (d) and Judy Reilly, Maureen and Joseph Casperowitz, David and Laurel Reilly. His grandchildren: Jacqueline, Derek, Colleen and wendolyn, and three adorable great grandchildren. He was a generous man and not only concerned for his fellow veterans but also the prevention of cruelty to animals.
