SULLIVAN, Joseph W. In Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Osterville & Norwood, on Tues Jan 21, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Beloved son of Winifred C. (Glynn) Sullivan of Centerville and the late Wesley J. Sully Sullivan Brother of Janice M. Hoffman of Centerville and Mrs. William ( Maureen) L. Crowley of Marstons Mills. Loving uncle of Gregory & Glenn Hoffman, Kerri Wick, Tricia Crowley, Christine Sorenson and Meghan Thompson. He also leaves 13 grand nieces and nephews. Joe was the former owner of Neponset Lincoln Mercury in Dorchester and was a proud supporter of local organizations and youth groups in Dorchester and South Boston. He was a former Chairman of the Lincoln Mercury Dealers Association and Member of the Board of Directors of Mass. Cooperative Bank. Joe was also an active member of the Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts serving as a Sargent. Joe loved the sea and spent many hours on the waters off Cape Cod Bay on his boat the Navillus and was a member of the Osterville Yacht Club and a long standing member of the 100 Club of Boston. Visiting hours will be held on Monday Jan. 27 at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home 160 West Main St Hyannis from 3-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tues Jan 28 at the Our Lady of Victory Church S. Main St Centerville at 11am. Burial to follow at Highland Cemetery Norwood, Mass.
