1913 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
DiDuca, Francesco "Cicci" Aged 100, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 5th 2014. Born in Atina, Italy on December 2nd, 1913, he lived in Atina until 1956 when he moved to Newton MA. He was a long time member of the Sons of Italy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family. Francesco is preceded by his wife of 70 years, Rosa Ernestina (Rossi) of Newton, MA, his son John Di Duca of New Haven, CT as well as his parents Giovanni and Angela Di Duca of Atina, Italy and four siblings. He is survived by his sons Philip Di Duca and Bruno Di Duca of Waltham as well as his daughters-in-law, Joanne Di Duca of Waltham and Marilyn Di Duca of New Haven, CT. He leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grand children. Visiting hours will be held at the Andrew J. Magni Funeral Home, 365 Watertown Street, NEWTON on Monday, Feb. 10th from 4-8:00PM. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday, Feb 11th at 9:30AM before proceeding to Our Lady's Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington Street, Newton for a 10:30AM Funeral Mass.
