CHIN, Annie Belonging to Brookline, age 57, dearly loved wife of Danny Chin and cherished mother of Kristen, Ian, and Vanessa Chin passed away February 9th, 2014 after a lung cancer diagnosis in late 2012. Annie is also survived by mother Mulan from Vancouver, sisters Di-An, Ruth, and Ida from Milton-Keynes (U.K.), Honolulu, and San Francisco, and by her treasured dog, Blazer. Annie worked at Mayflower Advisors in Boston and inspired many with her passion to fulfill her professional aspirations. She was highly active in the local community through the 21st Century Fund, China Adoption with Love, The Food Project, and Brooklines BNI network. A family only funeral service and cremation will be held on Feb. 13. A Celebration of Life memorial and reception open to all who knew her will be held at All Saints Parish, 1773 Beacon St, Brookline, at 1:00 p.m. on Feb. 15. Annie and her family want to acknowledge the outstanding staff at Massachusetts General Hospital who cared for her, especially during the last weeks of her life.
