Obituary Condolences

Boda, John "Spike" 78, former Andover Country Club head pro, passed away peacefully at Mass General Hospital after a long illness. He was surrounded by family. Spike is survived his wife, Angela Manzi Boda, son John Brad Boda and his wife Karyn Bickford Boda, son William Boda and his partner Darlene Donovan, Lynn Boda and her partner Michael Menery; his grandchilden Kaleena Boda and Ryan Boda. There will be a memorial gathering, celebration of his life, 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 14th in the ballroom at Andover Country Club, 60 Canterbury St., Andover. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services starting at 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 16th at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 AM at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen. Donations in Spike Boda's name should be sent to Eagle-Tribune Santa Fund or Lazarus House in Lawrence.
