Obituary Condolences

Perkins, Carl D. Of West Newton, formerly of Tarpon Springs, FL, died suddenly, March 24, 2014 of heart attack, age 55. Carl was a devoted, loving husband of Pamela (Burke) who adored him. Passionate father of 3 sons, Stephen, Nathaniel and Douglas who he is so much a part of. Cherished son-in-law of Suzanne and Joseph Burke of Newton. Admired brother of Larry of Attleboro, sister, Julie of Indiana. Dear brother-in-law to Sandi and John Taylor of Palm Harbor, FL. Nephews, Ehren, Cameron, Jack, and other loving relatives. Son of the late Don and Josephine Perkins. Carl grew up in North Attleboro, earned a BSME at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth '80, MSME at Northeastern University, 1989. Carl had an impeccable work ethic employed as a professional mechanical engineer, a respected co-worker at Technip, Boston, Shaw/CBI Canton, Mustang/Pegasus Tampa, FL, Artisan Industries/JetVac, Waltham, and Badger/Raytheon, Cambridge. Carl lived to love and be loved by his family. He enjoyed being involved in his sons various sports. He was a Red Sox fan, an avid skier, enjoyed travel, an occasional game of golf, and the simple things in life, more than anything, spending time with his wife and sons, sharing in their accomplishments. A small private family service was held Thursday, March 27th, 2014 at Magni Funeral Home, NEWTON, followed by burial at Newton Cemetery.
