Obituary Condolences

SHYNE, James "Jim" 75, died peacefully in Elko, Nevada on April 3, 2014 after a long illness. Jim was born and grew up in Cohasset, MA and graduated from Cohasset High School. He had a lifelong career in automobile sales, owning his own dealership in Nevada in the 1980s. He and his wife of twenty-three years Mary Margaret settled in Elko, Nevada in 1993, making many wonderful friends and memories. He loved woodworking and photography, and especially enjoyed taking photos of the wildlife and scenery of eastern Nevada. He loved to make others laugh and we will miss his enthusiastic (although not always appropriate) sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, his daughters Tammy Riggs (Brian) and Anne Cecile Savoy (Alan); their mother and his first wife Joan Fuda Shyne; stepdaughter Amy Patnode (Pete), granddaughters Bridget, Erin, Carly, Lindsey, and Mia; grandsons Pierre and Patrick; brother Kevin Shyne; sisters Bernadette Oliver and Mary Build; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Shyne, his mother, Bernadette C. Shyne, and his brothers Francis C. Shyne and John W. Shyne Jr. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Cohasset, MA, at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to your local .
