1926 - 2014 | Obituary Condolences
Spagnuolo, Antonietta Of Andover, MA (formerly of Boston's North End) passed away peacefully on Sunday April 6, 2014, with her family by her side. Antonietta was born in Prata di Principato Ultra, Italy on October 11, 1926, where she met and married the most incredible man, her loving and devoted husband Giuseppe (Joseph) Spagnuolo. Antonietta and Giuseppe were married for 62 years, and he remained steadfastly by her side until the very end. Antonietta was a kind, generous woman who was passionate about taking care of her family. She was an incredible cook, and took great joy in nurturing others through food. The Spagnuolo family has many happy memories of sitting around her kitchen table, enjoying her famous meatballs and "Nonna's cookies". Her infectious laughter and beautiful soul will always be remembered and dearly missed. Antonietta is survived by three children, Luigi (Gino) Spagnuolo and his wife Robin, Lucy Spagnuolo, and Anthony (Tony) Spagnuolo and his wife Maria. She had six grandchildren, who all loved their "Nonna", Joseph, Christina, Victoria, Olivia, Julia, and Isabella Spagnuolo. She is survived by her brother Feliciano Petruzziello and predeceased by her brothers Angelo, Luciano, Antonio, and Augusto Petruzziello. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, April 11th at 10:30am in St. Augustine Church, Andover. Entombment will follow at the Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 in the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, ANDOVER.
