Obituary Condolences

Colantoni, Gregory 48, of Beverly, MA, was sent into the arms of God surrounded by his beloved Mother Margaret (Montoni/Marino) Colantoni, his adoring sister Nancy Marino, and his many loving aunts and cousins on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2014. Greg was born in Beverly on January 3, 1966 to Margaret and the late Stephen Colantoni. Gregory was a gift who gave us unconditional love and much joy and laughter. He touched many lives with his courage, enduring spirit and pure joy of the life he shared with his family and friends. Greg found happiness in simple pleasures that many of us would take for granted. He loved to eat, whether at home or at his favorite restaurants (same restaurant, same booth same day each week). He danced and sang with such abandoned, sometimes even making his own music. He would spend hours greeting people driving by our house with his "special wave." When you looked at the world through Greg's eyes, you saw beauty through a purity of heart and mind. You saw one of God's greatest creations. Greg brought much comfort to his Mother Margaret and gave so much love to his sister Nancy. Margaret and Nancy, on behalf of Greg, would like to thank those who, over the years provided care to Greg: Cousin Jane Knight, Dr. David Neumeyer, MD of Lahey Clinic, Karen McGrath of Care Dimensions, Beverly Police, Fire Department, EMT's and Beverly Hospital and the staff at CCU who, in Greg's final hours provided wonderful care and great compassion. In addition to his Mother Margaret, and his sister Nancy Marino both of Beverly, he is survived by his aunt and Godmother Beatrice Henebury, Aunt Katherine Bunk, Aunt Constance Theriault and Uncle Edward Theriault; cousins: Kristen Percy, Kandy Cloutman, Jeff Bunk, Kathy Sullivan, Jane, Kevin and Ryan Knight, Kevin, Jane Marie, Michael and Patrick Henebury; best friends, Lonnie, Patty, Maryanne and Adele, along with many extended family members and cousins. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary Star of the Sea Parish, 253 Cabot Street, Beverly on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, NORTH BEVERLY on Tuesday (TODAY) from 4 to 7 P.M. Burial will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Beverly. Memorial Donations may be made in Greg's Memory to Saint Mary Star of the Sea Parish, 253 Cabot St., Beverly, MA 01915. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbell
