ANASTASIO, First Sergeant Joseph A. Age 45 formerly of Canton passed away suddenly May 25th in Germany, where he was stationed while serving in the United States Army. Beloved husband of Tina M. Anastasio of Florida. Father of Joseph and Angelica Grace Anastasio of Florida. Step-father of John and Kaitlynn Orren. Loving son of Joseph A. and Dianne M. Anastasio of Canton. Brother of Cynthia Anderson and her husband Robert of Hanover, Clark Anastasio and his wife Kelly of Easton and Scott Anastasio of Canton. Uncle of Nichole Anderson of Hanover, Cheyanne and Scott Anastasio of Barre. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., CANTON, Sunday 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church, 1860 Washington St., Canton, Monday morning at 10. Burial with full Military Honors at St. Marys Cemetery, Canton. Joe had a decorated 27 year career with the Army serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and was stationed in Germany, Japan and Bosnia.
