PARKER, Virginia K. (Teta) At 86 years, in Revere, following a long illness June 4. Cherished mother of Debra A. Murphy & her husband Boxford Chief of Police, Michael J. Murphy of Saugus, Richard M., James M. & Kim E. Parker all of Revere. Adored grandmother of Revere Firefighter Michael J. Murphy, Jr. & wife Tricia of Lynnfield & Alexyss T. Femino & husband Christopher of Saugus. Dear sister of Grace Raponi of Newport Richey, FL, formerly of Saugus, Stephen Teta & wife Ann of Winthrop & the late Anthony, Carmen, Ralph & Charles Teta, Adelaide Miniscalco & Kathleen Lucido. Also lovingly survived by her 5 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Molly, Christopher, Madilyn & Michael, her brother-in-law, Frank Miniscalco of Andover, Karen Bernard of Charlotte, NC, Jenny Teta of Andover & Rosemary Teta of Arcadia, CA & many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. Family & friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rt. 107) REVERE, on Tues., June 10 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculaet Conception Church (corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.), Revere, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours are Mon. only 4-8 p.m. Parking available left of the funeral home. Interment is private. Virginia was the former Proprietor & Stylist at Virginia Parker's Beauty Salon, Beach St., Revere, for over 50 years. Virginia retired in 2000. Longtime member of the ICC Parish Community & member of the Immaculata Guild. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114-2699.
