DOROTHY M. (HINES) CREUTZ Obituary
CREUTZ, Dorothy M. (Hines) Of Plymouth, formerly of Brockton, MA, died peacefully in her home on June 10th. She is the beloved wife of Rev. Deacon Edward F. Creutz, loving mother of James E. Creutz of Dennisport, Michael P. Creutz of Whitman, Patricia M. Becker of Avon and Monica M. West of Plymouth. Beloved sister of Karen Kelley of Salem, MA, and the late Marjory Kearney, Barbara McDonald, Paul V. Hines, and Jane McGregor. Cherished grandmother of Ryan Creutz, Garrett Creutz, Jeffrey DeLappe, Michael Becker, Sarah Becker, Kevin Becker, Christopher Becker, Meaghan West, Timothy West and Zachary West. Great- grandmother of Lillian, Tyler and Elizabeth. Born in Boston on Feb. 15, 1934, a daughter of the late Paul V. and Margaret (Welch) Hines. A graduate of South Boston High School, Dorothy was a Master Teacher in Religious Education. She was active in the church and community in many areas of service. She always made time to nurture all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 16th at 12:00 pm in St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church. Visiting hours in the Church from 4:00 pm 8:00 pm on Sunday June 15th. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Kateri Tekakwitha, 126 South Meadow Road, Plymouth, MA. 02360.
