BRIAN P. HAMLIN Jr. Obituary
HAMLIN, Brian P., Jr. 32, of North Attleboro, passed on June 11, 2014 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. He was the son of Brian P. Hamlin, Sr. and Robin (Kettell) Hamlin of Plainville. Born in Norwood on September 16, 1981, he was adored by everyone he came in contact with. He was an exceptional athlete who loved playing baseball in Norfolk, participating in football, basketball, and track while attending King Philip High School, and playing Division III football and baseball at Curry College. Brian graduated from Curry College in 2005, with a degree in Communications. He loved the world of sports, later co-hosting his Brownball Breakdown radio show at Eaglebrook Saloon. Brian was currently a Regional Sales Manager for BioDirect, Inc. in Taunton. He previously worked as a salesman at Hamlin Cabinet Corp. in Norfolk. Brian will always be remembered as a true friend to all and as a leader whose kind heart touched many lives and gave people hope that recovery is possible. Brother of Timothy A. Hamlin and Brandi B. Hamlin, both of Plainville, grandson of Roy Hamlin of Braintree, and Dot Kettell of Plainville, nephew of Nancy and James Marshall of Plainville, Susan Kettell and her late husband Eddie of Plainville, Patricia Romano (godmother), and her husband Bill of Easton, Billy Grossi of Middleboro, Gary and Debra Kettell of Plainville, Stephen Hamlin (godfather) and his wife Sally of Wrentham, Kevin and Heather Hamlin of Sandwich, Bruce Hamlin of Smithfield, RI, Leo MacDonald of Smithfield, RI, and Gillian and Darren Andrews of Norfolk. Grandson of the late Edward Kettell and the late Eileen Hamlin. Also survived by many cousins, close friends, his Clean Living House family, Locust Valley golf crew, and many other supporters. Visitation Monday, June 16th, from 4-8 PM in the R.J. Ross Funeral Home, 135 South St., WRENTHAM. Funeral Tuesday, June 17th at 10:30 AM at Saint Marthas Parish, 227 South St., Plainville. Burial will follow in Norfolk Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Clean Living House, 122 High St., North Attleboro, MA 02760. Checks payable to Kristen Giunta. Please include Brian Hamlin CLH in the memo line. This was Brians second family and he would have wanted others to have the opportunity to be a part of that and start their journeys toward recovery. Brian was always so giving toward everyone and his family wants to ensure that legacy continues in his honor. An online guestbook may be found at: www.rjrossfuneralhomeinc.com
