LAWRENCE V. GIUSTI Obituary
GIUSTI, Lawrence V. 86, of Chatham passed away peacefully at home on July 3rd, 2014. He was the husband of Phyllis H. Giusti. He was born the son of the late Emma and Lawrence Giusti in Readville, MA. He attended Hyde Park High before serving in the army during the Korean War. He later graduated from the Boston University School of Engineering. He worked for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lincoln Lab in Bedford, MA as an administrator for over 30 years before retiring to Chatham in 1989. Larry was a member of the Quiet Birdmen Hangars of Hyannis and Boston. He volunteered for Angel Flight, Monomoy Wildlife Refuge, and Cape Cod Hospital. He leaves, in addition to his wife Phyllis, sister Norma Kolakoski of Brewster and brother Leonard of Norwood. He was stepfather of Robert Bryant of West Bridgewater and Deborah Bryant of Rehoboth; step-grandfather of Larry Bryant of Stoneham and Eve Bryant of West Bridgewater; step-great grandfather of Emerson, James, Madsen, Gabriella, and Alex; and uncle of Leonard Jr. Giusti, Lori Natterstad, Mark Kolakoski, Mary Albis, and Kenneth Giusti.Services will be private.
