PALERMO, Alden Lansing 23, of Brookline, MA, died suddenly on July 4, 2014. He attended Brookline schools and graduated from the Academy at Swift River in 2010. He attended Goucher College and took classes at Massachusetts College of Art. He loved sword-making and was a beloved and devoted son, brother, and caring and loving friend. He is survived by his mother, Lark Jurev Palermo, his brother, Justin Hotchkiss Palermo, and other family and friends. Calling hours are Saturday, July 12, 3 - 7, Bell O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline. A memorial service will be held at King's Chapel, Boston, Saturday, July 26 at noon. Burial is private. Donations in his memory may be made to King's Chapel Social Action Committee, 94 Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02114 or Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston, 240 Commercial St, Boston, MA 02109.
