Obituary Condolences

SMITH, Ethel Marie Of Carlisle, Mass., July 10, 2014, following a 34-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was the wife of Brig. Gen. (Ret.) David H. Smith. Also survived by her children and their spouses, Karen A. Smith (Recco) and Maurice Morin of Litchfield, N.H.; Susan G. (Smith) and Hugo Smith of Beverly, Mass.; David and Sherrill Smith of Marlowe, N.H.; and Lisa (Smith) and Thomas Aciukewicz of Harvard, Mass.; two sisters Patricia A. Conroy of Yakima, Wash., and Beatrice Louise Dittami and her husband, Peter, of Framingham, Mass; and a brother, Stephen Daniel McKellick, and his wife, Dorothy, of Otter River, Mass.; seven grandchildren: Jonathan Recco, Ethan Recco, Rebecca Smith, Jessica Smith, Tristan Smith, Aidan Aciukewicz, and James Aciukewicz, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Road, BEDFORD, Sun., July 13, from 3-7 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Mon., July 14, at 11 a.m. at St. Irene's Church, 181 East Street, Carlisle.
