DENNIS MICHAEL GANNO Obituary
GANNO, Dennis Michael 67 of Oviedo, FL (native of East Boston, MA), passed away Tuesday July 8, 2014 at a Florida Hospice care facility where he lost his battle to cancer. Dennis was the late son of Joseph S. Ganno Sr. and Josephine (Cambria) Ganno, late wife Constance (Gaitanis) Ganno. Dennis is survived by his loving daughter Christine (Ganno) Paquette and son in-law Steven Paquette, grandchildren Ava and Maya Paquette. He is also survived by his brother Joseph Ganno Jr. and wife Lisa of Palm Harbor, nieces Gina Ganno Schmidt, and Alicia Ganno Wolf, Uncle Charles Ganno and wife Patricia, and many cousins and friends including Ann & David Croce of Oviedo, FL, and friend Donald Terry. Born in Boston, MA, raised and educated in E. Boston, MA and served in the United States Army during 1963-1966. Dennis retired from the Whitmor Company of Revere, MA in 2010 where he then moved to Oviedo, Florida. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his two granddaughters, visiting Ogunquit, Maine, and loved to cook. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching golf and rooting for Boston sports teams. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a grave site prayer on Sunday August 3 at 10 a.m. at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn St, Cambridge, MA followed by a luncheon at the VFW Tewksbury, MA (87 Vernon St). Donations may be made to the America .
