Obituary Condolences

McLAUGHLIN, Philip B. 49, of Middleboro and Raynham, died unexpectedly on Fri., July 18. Philip was the loving son of Dian L. McLaughlin of FL and the late Philip B. McLaughlin and grew up in Raynham. He was a star athlete at BR; varsity letter for both wrestling and football and captain for both teams his senior year. After breaking his leg in the first quarter of a football game, he went on to play the entire game and was awarded the Courage Award during the Shriners Game. Philip was always a loving husband and a devoted father raising his kids in Raynham and Middleboro. He was always active in their sporting endeavors. Philip worked for TR White for many years before starting his own contracting company JK Blackstone in South Boston. He was an avid golfer who loved his time with his family and friends. Philip was the loving husband of Marty N.R. McLaughlin of Middleboro and devoted father of Marc V. McLaughlin (USMC) of CA, Philip B. McLaughlin III of Raynham, Ensley K. Hostetter of Middleboro, and Luke J. McLaughlin of Raynham/Middleboro. Brother of Craig A. McLaughlin and his wife Donna of Taunton, Scott J. McLaughlin and his wife Melissa of Norton, Michelle M. Small of FL, and Brett M. McLaughlin and his wife Tara of NJ. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., BRIDGEWATER on Fri., July 25 at 10am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann's Church, 660 N.
