EDWARD ANDRE CHATEAUNEUF Obituary
Chateauneuf, Edward Andre Of Swampscott, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Blanche Louise (Foley) Chateauneuf, and the son of the late Captain Edward Andre and Ellen (Brazell) Chateauneuf. Ed was predeceased by his son John Chateauneuf, PhD; professor of Chemistry and research at Notre Dame University and Western Michigan University. In addition to his wife Blanche, Ed is survived by his loving daughter Ann Marie Dragani and her husband Anthony of Swampscott, three grandsons Matthew A., Michael A. and Daniel Edward Dragani, his sister-in-law Elizabeth Ann (Foley) Kean, nieces and nephews Marianne Skormurski, Suzanne Kean, Richard Brazell, Carole Manfra, Lorraine O'Hare, Patricia Wheaton, Michael Smith, Kenneth Smith, John Allen and Donna Spinney. His funeral will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10AM from the Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. (Rt 1A) LYNN, followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott at 11AM. Burial will be in Swampscott Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-8PM. Those who prefer may make donations in Ed's memory to Journeys of Hope, Inc. PO Box 244, Lynn, MA 01903, a non-profit organization formed to support homeless North Shore young adults in need.
