Ford, Jeremiah Age 85 of Peabody and Bradenton, Florida, July 29, 2014. Husband of the late Marie (Gillis) Ford and later the late Ellie (Almeida) Ford. He was born in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada on June 1, 1929, the son of the late Edward "Ned" and Helen (Whiting) Ford. He is survived by two sons, John Ford of Peabody and Edward Ford of Bradenton, Fl, and his siblings, James "Bunny" Ford of Pembroke, MA, Hoyles Ford , David "Rocky" Ford, Glen Ford, Frances Sudworth, Dolores Kelloway and Alice Bennett all of Glace Bay, Cape Breton, N.S. Canada and a granddaughter, Alexandra Ford of Peabody and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Archie, Syd, Paul and Art Ford. A Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 09:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John's Church, Peabody at 10:00AM. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Haven from Hunger, 71 Wallis St., Peabody, MA 01960 or to the Home for the Little Wanderers, 10 Guest St., Boston, MA 02135 in his memory.
