Joe was a devoted husband, father, friend, neighbor and employee. Joe was a committed Massachusetts employee for 52 years, retiring at the age of 80 in 2008. In 1997 he received a citation from Governor William Weld for his years of dedication and service to the citizens of Massachusetts as a Project Manager in Process Engineering at the MWRA. In a world of people calling for help, Joe was the man on the other line ready to help. He was unassuming, yet magnetic. He was gentle but strong. He always had a smile, a wink, a joke or a cheery statement for everyone. This world mourns his loss while the next applauds his arrival.
