JUNE F. FRENCH

FRENCH, June F. (Collins) Age 93, of Ipswich, formerly of Arlington, entered into eternal peace on August 9th. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Warren R., Jr., Retired Chief A.F.D. Loving mother of Shirley Berry & her husband Dan of Ipswich, David & his wife Sharon of Ipswich, Karen Cleary & her husband Jim of Salem, Kevin & his wife Trish of CO, Warren & his wife Tawni of CO, Bryan & his wife Jean of Arlington, Jeffrey & his wife Diane of Ipswich, Kathy Stringer & her husband Tom of PA, Sheila Aubin & her husband Ron of NH, Denise Townsend of Ipswich and the late Paul F., Sr., & his late wife Mary Jane of Somerville & the late Robert A. & his wife Nancy of Townsend. Also survived by multiple generation of grandchildren. June was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed every moment with her family of 12 who then blessed her with 36 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. June was an active member of her community. While living in Arlington, she was a member of St. Camillus Church Parish, singing in the choir and teaching CCD. June also enjoyed bowling in a Women's League and served as an assistant troop leader for Girl Scout Troop 803. After moving to Ipswich with her husband, fondly referred to as Buddy, she continued bowling and enjoyed fishing with her dear friends and family. She was loved by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. June's faith remained strong during her life here on earth. Our Lord has welcomed her with open arms "Well done, good and faithful servant" Matthew 25:23.Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at St. Camillus Church at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8 P.M. at The DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass Avenue, ARLINGTON. Interment to follow Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
