Pierre, I am sorry that your father has passed on. There are some lovely traditions we might invoke here to make sense of our time and place on the planet. From what I have read, your father make optimal use of both, as an artist and as a man.
Peace and best wishes to you, your family and his many friends and comrades.

Pierre, all of the members of your "favorite" committee want to express our sincere sympathy. Your father must have been a fascinating man, and I was personally sorry to read of his passing. It is so difficult to lose a parent--when my own father died I was reminded of the days I used to teach Emily Dickinson to 11th graders--there was a great line in one of her poems. "Honor your mother and father. The world will seem a sad and lonely place when they are gone." With sympathy, Peg Brown

My deepest sympathy to the Morenon family. I never had the honor of meeting Pierre's dad, but if his son is any indication, he must have been one remarkable individual. May he rest in peace and may his family take comfort in memories of wonderful times spent together.
