To the Paul family. I was thinking back today about the time and people I knew in Korea in the 1951/1952 era and thought I would "GOOGLE UP" some names. Was saddened to see that Baynard had passed in January. I served with the 152ND Prvenative Medicine Control Unit in Pusan that was attached to the Engineering Company with wich he served. He was in the supply section and always without fail had the things we needed at any given time. Always of great help no matter the need. We spent some off time talking about what we did in civilian life, he in Chelsea and me in a northern California sawmill.Loved that down east accent. Its been a longtime since we shared a space in our lives, but I have never forgotten the good people with which I served . Again I was saddened to see the notice on the passing.

Dear Loni and Family,
Our memories of Baynard go back a long ways.... very fond memories... both at the Yard and of special family gatherings.
We will hold those memories deep in our hearts and our prayers and thoughts are with your entire family as you go through this loss. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. He will be miss, he was a very dear man. Sincerely, Laura Tombarello and her daughter, Carol Hering.

Howard, David, Matthew, Ellen and families, my heartful sympathy to you all. Working with you all and your father is something I will always remember. Mr. Paul's generosity and flexibilty allowed me to work during a difficult time. You are all in my prayers.
