George P. Richardson Obituary
RICHARDSON, George P. 77, a resident of Easton for the past 36 years, died Monday, January 25, 2010, after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Deborah (Rooney) Richardson for 42 years. Born in Dedham on November 26, 1932, a son of the late George and Margaret (McGuinness) Richardson, he was raised in Dedham, graduated Dedham High School Class of 1951 and attended Boston College. George was employed in the Gaming Industry for 55 years. He began working for Narragansett Raceway in Rhode Island for American Tote Company and most recently was employed by Scientific Games Inc. of Atlanta. A communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Easton, he was a 50 year member of the Elks. George enjoyed golfing, collecting model trains and antiques. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Lynn Milton of Wellesley and Patrick Richardson of Arlington; and a granddaughter, Haley Milton. The funeral will be held on Friday at 8:00 a.m. from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street, EASTON, followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Easton, at 9:00 a.m. Interment in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
