HOLLAND, George Passed away at Renaissance Garden in Hingham Feb. 18,2011 at the age of 80. George had lived in Braintree many years before moving to Hingham. He served in the Mass. Air National Guard 1952-1954. George was a Master Electrician Local 103 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He served 60 years in Local 103 at various positions including Business Agent, President & Recording Secretary. He also served as Assistant Business Manager for Legislative Affairs.George was one of the founders of the Union Delta Wye Credit Union & Executive Board. George was also Project Manager for the MBTA's Southwest Corridor Project. Late member Linden Ponds Irish American Club, Young Men's Progressive League & Weymouth Club. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Ehrardt) Holland. Father of George "Chuck" Holland III married to Anne Ehrsam-Holland, Peter Holland married to Jennifer & Patrice DeAngelo married to John. Brother of Maureen Morrissey married to Ed, Kathleen Marrnelli married to Mike & the late Lorraine Welch & Jack Holland. Brother-in-law of Dave Welch. Grandfather of Jaclyn, Katie & Krista DeAngelo, Ryan, Joshua & Ally Holland & Andrew & Annelise Holland. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the SOUTH WEYMOUTH McDonald Funeral Home 809 Main St, (RT.18 opp. South Shore Hospital) Monday at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in the St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 11:00 O'clock.
