Constant S. Poholek Sr. Obituary
POHOLEK, Constant S. "Connie" Sr. 85, died June 9, 2011 in Boston. He was the husband of the late Phyllis (Zwolenski) Poholek. Born May 19, 1926 in Attleboro, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Stachurski) Poholek. Connie was a resident of Attleboro nearly all his life. He graduated from North Attleboro HS in 1944 and wintered in New Smyrna Beach, FL and summered Bristol, RI for many years. He was a master plumber and was Past President of the Master Plumbers Association in MA. He also owned and operated Heather Hill Country Club in North Attleboro since 1982. Connie served the US Navy during World War II and was a member of the American Legion in South Attleboro and Elks in Florida. He was the father of Karen A. Finocchi (daughter) and husband Elmo of North Attleboro and Constant S. Poholek, Jr. (son) and wife Ann of North Attleboro; four grandchildren, Stephen and his wife Melissa Finocchi, Michael and Kristen Finocchi all of North Attleboro and Ryan Poholek of North Attleboro; two brothers, Paul Poholek of South Attleboro and Ernest Poholek of North Attleboro; a sister, Genevieve Stadnicki of Attleboro. He was a former longtime companion of Lucille Shpack of FL and a devoted friend of Lee Holmes of South Attleboro. Visiting hours Wednesday, June 15 from 4-8 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, N. ATTLEBORO. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday, June 16 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass in St. Mary's Church, 14 Park St, N. Attleboro at 10 o'clock.
