PAPPAS, Helen Perdis 92, formerly of West Roxbury passed away October 8, 2011. Born in Lynn, MA to Gregory and Chrisoula (Katrakis) Perdis, who immigrated to America from Greece. Beloved wife of the late James Pappas. Devoted mother of Dr. William G. Pappas and his wife, Mary Margaret of Newton, MA. and Dr. Gregory J. Pappas and his wife, Ann of Newport, ME; dear grandmother of Benjamin Pappas and his wife Natasha Rankin, Matthew Pappas and his wife Miriam, Meredith Pappas Longo and her husband Peter, Rachel Pappas Del Aguila and her husband Edgar, and Noah Pappas and Kori Smith; loving great grandmother of Johan, Jasmine and Julian Del Aguila, Nalayah Pappas, Katerina Rankin-Lacchini, Charlotte and Henry Pappas and Vivian Longo. Dear sister of Olga Bazakos and dear sister-in-law of Seena Lopes and Clara Perdis. Devoted aunt to her beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Bertha Lilakos, Bessie Georgakakos and Frances Perdis and her brother William Perdis. Funeral service at the Chapel of the Cathedral Center, 162 Goddard Avenue, Brookline, Mass. on Friday October 14, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
