Obituary Condolences

MALM, Paul I., Sr. Life long resident of Randolph died July 7, 2012 surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. Born in Brockton, he grew up in Randolph and graduated FROM Stetson High School, Class of 1950. Served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a superintendent for Bethlehem Steel and a Foreman for General Dynamics Shipyard Quincy. He also worked a family business, Midnight Oil, of Quincy. After he retired he worked for Lappen Auto Parts, Brockton. He was a life member of the Randolph Lodge of Elks, 2130, Life member of the Randolph VFW Post #3389, member of the Stenkil Lodge #92, Braintree, the Norfolk Union Lodge of Masons and a life member of the ""Tin Can Sailors"". In his later years enjoyed vacationing in Florida with his wife. Beloved husband of the late Constance (Russo) Malm. Loving father of Paul Malm, Jr. of Barnstead, NH, Karen Hucksam and her husband Paul of Whitman, and Philip E. Malm and his wife Lenore of Holbrook. Brother of the late John C. Malm, Elsa Gustafson and Ernest Malm. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dear friend Edward Teed. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 N. Main St., Randolph MA. Funeral services Thursday at 10:00 in First Congregational Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial will take place in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to South Shore VNA and or South Shore Hospice, 30 Reservoir Park Dr., Rockland MA 02370. www.cartwrightfuneral.com
