Charlie and I first met when we were little rugrats at The Church of The Redeemer. Though Charlie and I went to different schools and saw each other infrequently over the years, I always held him in great affection, for he exemplified the characteristics I care for most; the interpersonal care, passion and positive energy that made a truly great friend. When I think of people I want to keep in my life forever, people who make those around them happier and the world a better place, I think of Charlie. You will be in my heart forever, may you rest in peace.

To the Kenny Family,

Words can't describe how sad I was to hear this terrible news. As someone who has been involved in the Brown Lacrosse program for a long time, I can truly say your son was one of the best leaders we have ever had.

I last saw Charlie this past December at Brown Lacrosse Reunion in New York City. The last thing I said to him was - "Thank You for keeping our country safe." To you his family I say thank you for giving us Charlie for 4 years. His impact was felt by many and will continue to be felt as we are sure to honor his memory for many years to come.

God Bless you all.

We can only say that it was our honor to be amongst SOOOO Many caring people today at what was a spectacular and deeply heartfelt service by all!!!! It was an amzingly beautiful service! Tommy was great! They were all great.
We continue to think of you all and are so sorry for this terrible loss of young Charlie.
I never had time to tell you both that Whitney and Sheehan said to please send their love! Whitney fell in love with Charlie upon first glance and went up t him and asked " We're not RELATED in anyway are we??????". LK
