Obituary

CURTIS, Deborah 92, who grew up in Newton and was a long-time resident of Boston, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Lexington, MA. Deborah was born in Newton, MA, daughter of the late Leander and Margaret Curtis. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Albert and Mary Curtis in Newton along with many cousins, for whom she had fond memories throughout her life, including Eleanor Donovan of Newton. She moved to Boston in the 1940s with her sister Marion Curtis who died in 1994. There she raised her two sons, George Curtis of Quincy, MA and Robert Curtis of Lynn, MA, both of whom survive her. Life was mainly a pleasant journey for her until the end. A funeral service will be held on Sat Sept 8 at 10 AM in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home, 465 Centre St., NEWTON CORNER.
