FRAZIER, Robert E. "Bob" Of Braintree, passed away November 16, 2012 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of sixty seven years of Mary A. (Ryan) Frazier. Loving father of Mary Martin and her husband Harvey of Milford, Robert E. Frazier Jr. of Hanover, Carol Kippenhan of Braintree and the late George Kippenhan, Joanne Hinnendael and her husband Jay of Warner, NH, Kathy McCleary and her husband Dennis of Abington, Paul Frazier Ret. Police Chief Braintree PD and his former wife Susan Purpura both of Braintree, Patty Rich and her husband Charlie of Hanson, Susan Wakelin and her husband Steve of Abington, James Frazier of Whitman and Eileen Dudenhoeffer and her husband Andy of Vienna, VA. Son of the late Henry and Hazel (Delory) Frazier. Devoted brother of Barbara Shea of Hingham, Helen Ewell of Bridgewater, the late John Frazier, William Frazier, Pauline Julian, Rita Brennan and Joe Frazier. Dear grandfather of Debbie and Steven, Amy, George, PJ and Bobby, Sarah and Emily, Denny, Mikey and Katy, Jenny and Katie, Chris, Allison and Joe, Emily, Steve and Bridget, Nick and Molly, Kelly, John and Max. Great grandfather of Ryan and Matthew, Ryan, Patrick and Molly, Mary, Scotty, Henry and Chloe, Graham and Anna, Caroline, Evangeline and Catherine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob grew up on Factory Hill in East Braintree and was educated in the Braintree Schools. Bob was in the CCC Camp in Warner, New Hampshire before enlisting in the US Marine Corps where he served for 27 months during WWII in the Pacific Theater. After the War Bob went to work at the Fore River Ship Yard and then became a Master Plumber. Bob served in Public Service in the Town of Braintree as Town Meeting Member, Board of Health, Selectman for 16 years and as State Representative. Bob was a life member of the American Legion Post 86, Knights of Columbus, VFW, Holy Name Society, Braintree Rotary, Braintree Board of Trade and Coached Little League. Bob was also the former Town of Braintree Highway Superintendent. Bob was proud of his service in the Marine Corps, a standard which he held throughout his life and which he instilled in his family. He was a member of the Greatest Generation hat ever lived. Bob will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington Street, BRAINTREE until 9:45 AM on Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4:00 - 8:00PM. Burial in Braintree Cemetery, Braintree.
