CRONIN, Allan G. "Allie" 67, longtime resident of Billerica, formerly of Burlington, passed away after a long fight with cancer on November 22. Son of the late Allan F. & Florence (Graham) Cronin. Beloved father of Allan G. and his wife Joy M. Cronin of Derry, NH. Dedicated grandfather to Timothy J., Siara L., and Bryce A. Cronin of Derry, NH & Christopher M. of Sandown. He is also survived by his sisters, Edith Guidoboni and her husband Richard of Nashua, NH and Carol Skelton and her husband Gerald of Baldwinville, MA. In addition, he is survived by 1 niece and 4 nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Allie was a graduate of Burlington High School where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. In October 2012, Burlington High held the Hall of Fame ceremony and Allie was able to celebrate his accomplishment with family and friends. After high school, he graduated from Chamberlayne Junior College in Boston where he was the captain of the basketball team. He was employed by Tactical Communications Group in Tewksbury as a Software Engineer. Previous to that he was employed by ACSI for over 30 years. Allie was an avid golfer who played in a league for many years. Still, his greatest joy was his grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at the Doyle-Lane Funeral Home, 171 Bedford St., (Rte. 62) BURLINGTON, Monday, November 26 from 4-8 pm.
