CARLY ELIZABETH JONES

JONES, Carly Elizabeth Its a difficult, in the telling to do justice to any one person's life. It's recitation of facts pales before the reality of the beauties and wonders, joys and sorrows which make up the story of one's life. Never the less, the facts are these. Carly Elizabeth Jones was born at home in Roxbury, during a blizzard on February 16, 1980. She left her body on January 29, 2013. She attended Apple School in Cambridge and later Delphi Academy in Milton. She graduated second in her class at North Cambridge Catholic High in 1999. She attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and in Boston, where she achieved her Bachelor of Science in Business Management. During this busy time of her life she and Akeem Beeks became parents and welcome the "Joy of their World", Niyah Zoe Beeks. As a child she travelled to Oklahoma and California with her mother, and to Florida with her father. In Oklahoma she volunteered at the age of 10 in anti-drug educational activities, and in California she did volunteer work with her mother's Church. In her early teens, she danced in The Dreamers Dance Team in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and performed in popular venues such as the Boston Garden and the Boston Children's Musem. She also volunteered as a peer leader at Cambridge Cares About AIDS. After graduation, Carly relocated to Virginia for a time and then moved to New Jersey. Her daughter attended The Ability School in Englewood, where Carly also worked. Upon her return to Boston, she worked at Delphi Academy in Milton and then at Cambridge Cares as Office Manager. She had recently returned to school to pursue her true passion and she will receive her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Design posthumously in April of this year. Her father is Prince Jones, her mother Elizabeth Jane Pierce of Fitchburg, MA. Her sisters are Ann Adams of Baltimore, MD, Linda Dianne Smith of Houston, TX (orginally of Boston) and Tasia Jones of Boston. Her brother is Daniel Jones of Boston. She was predeceased by her brother Dwayne Williams of Boston in 2010. Carly is the niece of Rosemary and David LeBlanc of Fitchburg and of Charles Ira Pierce, III of Leominister. She is survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephew and many, many friends. A special mention is made of her maternal grandparents, Charles and Corinne Pierce of Fitchburg, MA and paternal grandparents, Squire and Willie Jones of Florida. Carly will be remembered and loved for many things. She gave 200% as a devoted mother to her daughter Niyah Zoe. She was loving daughter and granddaughter. She had a zeal for her art work and studies. She also loved to cook and feed many, many, people. Her door and heart were open to everyone. But most of all she loved to make people laugh, and laugh we did! Flowers may be sent or contributions to an educational fund may be made in Carly's memory and may be left at the Church or sent to J.B. Johnson Funeral Home.
