Krystle Campbell Obituary
Her father says Krystle Campbell, of Medford, Mass., had gone with her best friend to take a picture of the friend's boyfriend crossing the finish line on Monday afternoon.
William Campbell says his daughter, who worked at a restaurant in nearby Arlington, was "very caring, very loving person, and was daddy's little girl." He says the loss has devastated the family.
He says the friend was seriously injured in the explosion.
An 8-year-old, Martin Richard of Boston, also died. He was at the finish line watching the race with his family.

I saw the front page of the Lowell Sun the other day.And on it was the scene of the Marathon Bombing.I was overcome with so emotion, I had to sit down.I just started to cry.I was in a public place,and people were just looking at me helplessly.
You see, I worked with Krystle at ScupperJacks for quite a few years, And I STILL MISS HER TERRIBLY. My condolences to her family.

It was great seeing your family at Fenway Park tonight. I was out in the bleachers. Everyone, even out there was standing, crying and cheering you. Looking at your daughter's picture the first words that came to mind were "What a doll, what a smile". I am so very, very sorry for the loss of your daughter ... a loss that will encompass all aspects of your lives for the rest of your lives. It has been three and a half years since I lost my own cherished child, Chad at age 18 whose smile shone brightly like Krystle's. So my heart breaks for you as many others do but also it breaks for you with the understanding of just what losing your beautiful girl means. It is not about "the first year" it is about living without your baby here. Krystle was and is beautiful because of you and your love for her. Your love for her and hers for you is alive and well.
