I just learned of Dom's passing through my friend George Early as I was walking our dogs today.
I had the extreme pleasure of working with Dom on a real estate deal where we both had the same client and I can say first hand that he was the perfect balance of a professional and good friend. I googled Dom and saw a younger picture of him and a memory hit me like a ton of bricks. I used to skate with a bunch of school friends on Reys Pond and one day Jim Logue and Dom joined us for some old fashioned pick up hockey. If I didnt see his picture that memory would never have surfaced.
A great loss. You earned your wings Dom. You are with God.

Kathleen, Kathryn, Bethany, David, Frankie, Susan & Family-We are incredibly saddened by the passing of Domenic. Please know that our family here in NY is thinking of you all at this very hard time. He was an incredible man with an amazing spirit and he will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences to you all.

Dearest Kathleen and cousins, I am so sorry we could not be with you. Dom and Frank were always so special to all of us. Even though they make Nonna walking sticks that she used to swat us, we still love them and all of you. It has been a hard year for all of us. We are going to have a get together in Aug. 23-25 in upstate NY. I know things will be crazy for you but it would be so great to see you. All our love. I know Mom and Dad are visiting w/ Dom now. Mary mike courtney mike david brittney and the "gang at the farm" will always remember all the great times when uncle joe aunt theresa don and frank visited the farm football games kickball playing baseball and the sumac sticks don and frank used to wittlefor gram damn they hurt ! I have very fond memories of my cousin Dom when I was growing up and my family traveled to Massachusetts each summer. I'm very saddened to hear of this and I will certainly miss him. My deepest sympathies for all the Scalise family.

It is with sadness at your loss of Domenic that I write. Over the years distance has kept us furher apart than I had wished, but familial love has never diminished. Domenic was a good husband, a good father and a good man.

Kathleen-We are so very sorry to hear of Dominic's passing. We will always remember him taking all of us on hikes and the countless wonderful pictures that we all enjoyed him taking of the "farm". It was always so much fun when you all visited us in Sauquoit. You are all in our prayers.
