When Brian & I met, I was 17 newly married & meeting the guys my husband worked with. Brian told me his name, & I immediately said, MacDonnell. He was very adamant that it was,Mac. Don. Nell! We argued for awhile, but then we just laughed because we were treating one another like we had known each other for years! And thats how we became best friends! I loved Brian dearly, and I am so sorry that we lost touch. And worse that I didnt find him before he passed!!

Brian was my best friend when he was stationed with my husband (at the time) at Luke AFB in Arizona. We had such wonderful times together. He dated my best gal friend, & the 4 of us would double date.....we lost touch after his service time was up But, I've always had him in my heart & thoughts!! I'm sooo sorry that I didn't find him until after he was gone! Brian was a great guy, fun, sweet, wicked sense of humor, adorably cute, great smile...he was the total package! I miss him terribly...and love him still! I know that his family was everything , so I'm glad that Brian was eith his, yet sad for his passing way too soon! So sorry for your loss!

Christine, I am so sorry for your loss. The sadness you must feel in losing one of your children is incomprehensible to me. Jana and I, along with Lindsay and Britany feel so fortunate to have been taken in and treated as family by you and all of your children. We love you all. And we will dearly miss Brian at the next MacDonnell family gathering.

My dearest Brian,
I met you 12 years ago working along side of you taking care of our amazing oncology patients. We quickly bonded with our mutual love for classic rock, dogs, home renovations, nature, and Antigonish Nova Scotia. Over the years we shared many laughs and stories. Not only we we collegues, we were friends. I feel so honored to of been there for you these past several months. Though I feel like I've lost a best friend, i have gained the pleasure of being a part of your family. I take tremendous comfort knowing your with your beloved Archie. Thinking of that makes me smile. You will always have a place in my heart. Love, Dana
