Matthew and to Joel's family
I knew Joel professionally as the best civil trial lawyer of his time. He was a model to others, a champion to his large and loyal clientele, a paradigm of what it means to be both forceful and credible in a courtroom, and a loyal friend to me and all the others who had the honor to be one of his colleagues and to share part of his professional life together
I am so sorry not to be able to call him, to share our life as litigators together, to just know he was there
