D'Amelio, Victor In Cava De'Tirreni, province of Salerno, Italy, formerly of Everett, March 28, at age 89. Beloved husband of Rita (Porpora) D'Amelio. Dear and devoted father of Angela Acierno and her husband, Luigi of Saugus, Joseph D'Amelio of Atlanta, GA and Patricia Santostefano of Nashville, TN. Brother of Ralph D'Amelio of Chelmsford and the late Elisa Barnes. Loving grandfather of Paula Pellissier, Stefanie Acierno, Gina Acierno and Angelo Santostefano and loving great-grandfather of Margaux and Leo. Victor is also survived by several nieces, nephews, dear friends and in-laws. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Victor's Celebration of Life in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. Victor was proud to be an American and served with honor in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was life member of the Saugus-Everett Lodge of Elks, #642 and the VFW, Everett. He worked for the United States Postal Service, South Boston Annex for over 40 years. A hard worker who loved gardening and the Boston Red Sox, he had a huge heart and a sense of gratitude for everything in life. He was a very loving, caring and generous person who touched everyone's heart. The twinkle in his eyes and his great sense of humor will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Victor's memory to the , 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472 would be sincerely appreciated. Parking with attendants on duty.
