GANNON, Thomas E. Jr. Of Holbrook, passed away at home with his family on July 4th at the age of 72. Born in Boston, Tom was raised in Fields Corner. He graduated from English High School. After graduation Tom served in the United States Marine Corp. Tom went On to further his education at Williams College and is a former employee of Bank of New England. Currently he is employed at PayChoice as a Vice President of Operations. He was also a former member of St. Kevin's Emerald Knight Drum and Bugle Corps and a Holbrook Youth Hockey Coach. Tom is a member of the Emerald Society of the Boston Police and Braintree Moose Lodge 413. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Mahoney) Gannon. Loving father of Thomas Gannon of Quincy and Robert Gannon and his wife, Deborah, of Pembroke. Devoted brother of Claire Humphrey of Dorchester and the late Ann-Marie Mullaly. Dear grandfather of Madeline. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), HOLBROOK, Wednesday at 9:15 am, followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph's Church, Holbrook at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8pm. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
